Another Cel-Fi by Nextivity in building mobile voice infrastructure installation that we have supplied, installed and commissioned for a client in Melbourne’s western Suburbs. This is a large industrial building with an extremely spacious two story office block that needed specialist antennas due to lack of access for the first floor.
The installation consisted of four Taoglas Storm 3G+4G+4GX Mimo Omnidirectional Antennas . Two Taoglas were mounted on a medium duty 35mm dia 3M gal mast connected to two Phaseblocker N Male to Female Lightning Arrester – up to 6GHz & cabled down via LCU400 Coaxial Cable – N Male to FME Female to two Cel-Fi Go by Nextivity units for the second floor.
The other two Taoglas antennas were mounted along the facia of the first floor and cabled through the ceiling space to the client’s first floor data rack to two Cel-Fi Go by Nextivity units via Andrews LDF4-50A Coaxial Cable as the distance from the antennas to the data rack was over 30 metres.
As this was a two story building and the office space was extremely large with the client needing coverage all across both floors we had to install two Signal Splitter 2-Way – N Female and 6 x RFI Technology Solutions Low PIM DAS Omni directional Ceiling Antenna – 698-960MHz & 1710-6000Mhz.
This was a great outcome for the client & gave them full Telstra 4G VoLTE Mobile voice coverage across the 2 levels separated by concrete & steel reo.
All the communications & telecommunications infrastructure for this installation was supplied by our ever wonderful suppliers Telco Antennas.
